Technical Manager

Accountabilities

The main purpose of this position is to lead a team to facilitate the new software development, collaborating with development teams in other OOCL global centers:

  • Perform key application Project Lead function to facilitate the new software application deployment
  • Facilitate the new software technology, architecture and application system re-engineering deployment while providing high quality application systems support
  • Responsible for application systems problem and performance Management
  • Enable a proactive support & process oriented organization culture in order to improve systems support service quality and productivity which is measured through effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above with major in computer science or related disciplines 
  • 8+ years related experience in project and people management
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skill, customer-focus mindset
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English
  • Proven experience in system design of large-scale enterprise system
  • Strong technical background including architecture design, domain design and partitioning
  • Knowledgeable to J2EE architecture, SOA governance, Oracle DB, WebLogic, and Eclipse software
