I joined OOCL Bremen in August 2006 as a trainee.  During my apprenticeship, I went through six different departments and learned different working processes, functions and tools of each department.  I really appreciated that after a few days of introduction, I had my own tasks and responsibilities like other employees.  I think this is what makes the apprenticeship at OOCL so successful and highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the trainee program so I decided to stay with OOCL.  I started working in the Operations Department in January 2009 as a Transport Coordinator.  I was responsible for landside operations with the main focus on managing truck deliveries in Europe for all container discharging/loading in Hamburg and Bremerhaven.

Looking for new challenges, I started my BA work-study program and moved to the Sales Department in October 2010; and I attended to the Austrian and Southern German customers.  I enjoyed my job as a Sales Coordinator as it was diversified due to different customers and continuous market development.  What I really liked about this job was to communicate with our customers and to convince them of the logistics services provided by OOCL.

After nearly 2 years in Sales, I have been promoted to the Transport Supervisor in June 2012.  I look forward to this new challenge and I really appreciate the continuous support by OOCL, which is, besides the great colleagues I have, one of the reasons why I can identify myself with OOCL and I am proud to be a part of it.
