Delay In Transit(DIT)
Upon customer’s written request and subject to carrier's approval, or for any delay caused by customer, carrier will provide delay in transit, which is the extension of stay at any of the original shipment point other than port of receipt and final destination for a shipment on full container quantities subject to the following terms and conditions:
- 1. Cargo covered - All cargo shipped on one bill of lading from one shipper at one port of origin to one consignee at one port of destination. Bill of Lading quantities may not be split.
- 2. Service performed - Carriers will hold container(s) at relay port ( the port where cargo is transferred from one vessel to another vessel to continue the bill of lading transportation).
- 3. Charges – Carrier shall collect below Delay In Transit Handling/Operating Fee & Delay In Transit Demurrage charge for services provided and reimburse all incurred costs and loss, which shall include but not limited to re-nomination, lift on/off, shifting.

This charge will be collected for any delay in transit request submitted by customer after carrier's booking confirmation on top of Delay In Transit Demurrage charge.

Free time and demurrage charge for transit location would be applied per local terminal tariff unless specified as below:
