1. Definition of Key Terms
Demurrage :
Export Cargo free time shall commence at 00:00 from the working day after the container has been gate in full and shall end 00:00 AM from the day the container is loaded on board the export vessel
Import Cargo free time shall commence at 00:00 from the working day after the completion of the vessel complete discharge date/time and shall end 00:00 AM the day the container gate out from the CY depot
Detention
Export : Equipment free time shall commence 00:00 from the working day after the empty gate out of the depot
Import : Equipment free time shall commence 00:00 fom the working day after the full gate date/time of the equipment from the CY depot
Quay Rent : Cost levied by a terminal for laden container storage
Working day : Any day (other than Sunday or legal holiday) on which legal business can be conducted
Calendar Day : All days in a month, including weekends and holidays.
