Invoice
Our Original Invoices Remark column bears the name of the company on which the payments are to be made.
Please obtain Original Invoice as well as Copy Invoice through any of the following channels:
a) Download from http://www.oocl.com/india/eng/Pages/default.aspx
b) Via EDI. We can handle both the EDIFACT as well as X.12 formats. Please refer to http://www.oocl.com/eng/ourservices/eservices/edi/ for implementation guides, more information about messages, formats and protocols, and other information to help you get started.
c) Email. Please contact our customer service representative for the service. http://www.oocl.com/india/eng/localinformation/localcontacts/
d) Send the request to [email protected] for Shipments for Nhava Sheva.
Payment Method
TDS Deduction will not be acceptable as find attached TDS exemption certificate issued by Income Tax Department in favor of “Orient Overseas Container Line Limited”. This certificate is valid upto 31st March 2017.
a) Demand Draft:
Limit: No.
Payee: "Orient Overseas Container Line Limited". However for shipments orginating from Russia/Poland/ Turkey payment should be in the name of "OOCL (Europe) Limited".
b) Cheque :
Limit: INR 1,00,000/-.(For BCHAA Members) and INR 20,000/- (Non BCHAA Members) Third Party / Personal Cheques not acceptable.
Payee: "Orient Overseas Container Line Limited". However for shipments orginating from Russia/Poland/ Turkey payment should be in the name of "OOCL (Europe) Limited".
c) RTGS / NEFT / IMPS :
Limit: No.

Process for NEFT / RTGS / IMPS Payments
1. RGTS/ NEFT / IMPS Payments should be made at least one day prior to the document exchange date.
2. Please note while making NEFT / RTGS / IMPS payment "REMARKS" column on your bank's website should be updated with OOCL Master Bill of lading Number for which PAYMENT is being transferred.
3. Immediately on transfer of the amount; Customer will send the Payment advise to the below Emails id’s.

4. Below details are mandatory to be forwarded in the Payment advise.
i) OOCL Invoice Number
ii) OOCL BL Number
iii) Paid Amount (INR)
iv) UTR Number
v) Date of payment
5. D/O or B/L will be exchanged ONLY after the amount reflects CREDITED in OOCL ERP system. Payment should only be made from Company's Account and not from Individual account.
6. If any one of the above steps is not followed properly, then OOCL will not be responsible for the delay in Document release.
