Greetings for the day.

This is to bring your kind notice about current on-going traffic congestion at Nhava sheva port terminal. Currently the traffic has reached to Sonari Bridge with two lane 8 Kms long queue. Trailors are taking as much as 48 hours to complete one round trip from CFS to port.

NSICT terminal gates are frequently closing without any prior notice to CFS/Transport operators which is making this situation even worst. At NSICT Trailors are taking 7 to 8 hours to complete unloading / loading of EXIM containers inside terminal.

This issue has been raised several times by CFSAI with respective port terminal authorities & also requested Customs & Local traffic police authorities for their intervention on the issue. Unfortunately there is no sign of relief from terminal operators side which is hampering EXIM business very badly.
