With reference to current “force majeure” event in port of NHAVA SHEVA (GTI Terminal shutdown since 4^th August 2015), which is causing important service disruptions involving increased operating costs, please be informed that OOCL will be implementing an:

Ø  Emergency Surcharge* of $150/TEU for all Asia cargoes destined to NHAVA SHEVA (including ICD’S) routed on CIX, CIX3 & FI3 Services as from discharge date: AUGUST 15th 2015. (on collect basis)

The Emergency Surcharge* will be applied as follows:

·       Origin Range: from all ASIAN ports

·       Destination to/via: NHAVA SHEVA (INDIA) + ICD’s served via NHAVA SHEVA Port code : INNSA1

·       Cargo: Dry, OOG and Reefer cargoes

·       Dates of application: August 15th, 2015, Date of Discharge

·       On COLLECT Basis only

Any revision of this surcharge related to the evolution of the local situation will be communicated with 1 week days’ notice.
