Please be advised that with effective from 22 Jan 2017, a 4.5% Service Tax will be levied on Ocean Freight and related charges for all Indian import shipments which are under Prepaid term, according to the amended Service Tax legislation (Notification No. 1/2017-Service Tax) dated 12 Jan 2017 enacted in India.
