OOCL Initiatives

OOCL believes that by taking a proactive role in caring for the environment, we can help minimize our carbon footprint, as well as other harmful pollutants such as sulphur oxides (SOx), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matters, and make the world a better place to live for ourselves and future generations. We voluntarily cooperate with many programs and standards around the world, and have received numerous awards and recognition for our achievements and quality practices, including:

Port of Long Beach Green Flag Award (speed reduction program)
ISM Code , ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Ballast Water Management Program
