The rates, charges and rules governing cargo movements under this tariff are those published and in effect on the date when a shipment is received by the carrier or its agent. A shipment shall not be considered as "received" until the full bill of lading quantity has been received. In all cases, the date and time the shipment was actually received by the carrier or its agent will govern the determination of the applicable rate. All rates which bear an expiry date will expire at mid-night of the expiry date.
Exception: With effective from Aug 1 2015, for shipments of Asia-Europe Trade,Intra-Asia Trade and Australia / New Zealand Trade ( Except for Australia and New Zealand to/from United States/Canada), the rates, charges and rules governing cargo movements under this tariff are those published and in effect on the date of actual vessel departure date of the vessel named in the bill of lading.
Applicable to TATWB only:
The shipment received date and time refers to the date and time of cargo load in case of carrier haulage or the date and time of full container gate-in at container yard in case of merchant pre-carriage.
Applicable to AET only:
Received for shipment Bills of Lading will be issued and dated not earlier than the date of acceptance of the goods by the Carrier.
Shipped Bill of Lading ('shipped on board' endorsements) will be issued and dated not earlier than the date of commencement of loading of the ocean or feeder vessel.
