Export Demurrage (Milestones* new eff. 1.10.2016)
All ports - starts one calendar day after container’s gate in and ends at cargo cut-off
(old milestones* valid till 30.9.2016: All ports - starts on same day of container’s gate in and ends at cargo cut-off)
Import Demurrage (Milestones* eff. 1.10.2015 until further notice)
GDYNIA, GDANSK - starts one calendar day after container discharge and ends on the same day of container’s gate out
SZCZECIN - starts on the same day of container’s discharge and ends on the same day of container’s fully gate out
STRIPPING AT TERMINAL - all ports
Same terms as above are valid for containers stripped at the terminal. DEM ends on the same day of empty container’s gate out (not at time of stripping).
We kindly ask customers to discuss with terminals to return the empty containers to OOCL stock within the DEM free time in order to avoid DEM/DET charges.
