EMS (Emergency Surcharge in St.Petersburg) – USD 400/dry teu and USD 675/reefer teu valid as from 5/03/7 till further notice
MAR - Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge, for cargoes to/from Baltic Sea destinations, a Low Sulphur Fuel Surcharge of USD 5/TEU will apply with effect from 1st September 2006.
HEAVY WEIGHT SURCHARGES for 20’ -
CPR (20' Premium Charge) = USD 250/20' for Dalian, Xingang (Tianjin), Qingdao, Xiamen and any place of receipt which cargo sails from these gateways
That surcharge is applicable for 20’ of any weight – valid as from 15th of June till further notice
CWC – Heavy Weight Cargo Surcharges (for weight at or over 15 tons)
= USD 100/20’ for Indonesia / Singapore / Thailand / Malaysia
= USD 150/20’ for Vietnam and South Korea (in South Korea that surcharge became valid since May 22), Hong Kong, Yantian, Shekou, Chiwan and any place of receipt which cargo sails from these gateways
As from 1st of July till further notice –
Heavy Weight Cargo Surcharges
For Dalian, Xingang (Tianjin), Qingdao, Xiamen and any place of receipt which cargo sails from these gateways
CWX - for cargo weight at or above 20tons, USD 150 per 20' will be charged
For Shanghai, Ningbo and any place of receipt which cargo sails from these gateways
CWX - for cargo weight at or above 20tons, USD 400 per 20' will be charged
For all other regions, except above mentioned gateways/PORs and Japan,
CWC - for cargo weight less than 20tons but at or above 15tons, USD 150 per 20' will be charged
CWX - for cargo weight at or above 20tons, USD 350 per 20' will be charged
Remarks -
* For any misdeclaration, penalty fee is USD 2000 per box
** Any 20’ heavy weight booking is subject to space and weight situation in particular region anyway.
THC in St.Petersburg – increased to USD 250/dry cont and USD 325/reefer cont as from 15th of May 2007.
Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) -
From Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe/Baltic/Scandinavian and Mediterranean Areas
Further to their announcement dated 3rd November 2006 Member Lines of the FEFC wish to inform customers that the following PSS will apply:-
From Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe/Baltic/Scandinavia
USD 135.00 per TEU for the period 1st August 2007 to 15th November 2007
General Rate Increase – as from 1st of July –
Business Plan – Westbound Cargo 2007
As part of the Business Plan 2007 announced on 3rd November 2006, Member Lines of the FEFC wish to advise customers that it has been decided that for cargo moving from Southeast Asia outports (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Philippines) to North Europe, Baltic/Scandinavia and Mediterranean, the following Conference rate increase is applicable: -
1st July 2007 (GP containers) – A Conference rate increase of USD 450 per TEU.
1st July 2007 (Reefer containers) – A Conference rate increase of USD 550 per TEU.
Resulting Conference tariff rates are then valid until 30th September 2007.
We would clarify that for Singapore and Port Kelang/Tanjong Pelapas, the Conference rate increase would be USD 300 per TEU for GP containers and USD 400 per TEU for RF containers as these are base ports. The higher rate increase quanta is to enable Lines to recover higher costs incurred in serving outports and Reefer customers.
