1. Definition of Key Terms

Export Demurrage Export Cargo free time - Per local port/terminal tariffs.
Import Demurrage Import Cargo free time at CY - 72 hours from end of shift following completion of discharge of the vessel including Sundays and Holidays. Import demurrage are collected by the terminal together with terminal storage charges upon gateout, payable by the consignee directly.

Export / Import Detention (Free time & Charge*)

1. Definition of Key Terms

Export Detention Equipment free time - commence with the first midnight after removal of the equipment from the on dock/off

dock CY or CD, except that the hours of Sundays or legal Holidays will not be counted when computing free time.
Import Detention Equipment free time - 3 days, applies from midnight following the removal from CY, Sunday and local Holidays excluded.
