As you may be aware, since the implementation of the US 24 hour advanced manifest regulations the charge for amending data and re-submitting after the initial transmission of manifest information to US Customs was set at US$ 40 per amendment. This was subsequently extended to our Canadian services upon the implementation of the Canadian 24 hour advanced manifest regulations.
We are now extending the scope of amendment fees to all other OOCL services. Therefore please note effective 15th April 2007 the following charges will be applied automatically:-
- US$ 40 per amendment for all requests made after manifest transmission to the US and or Canadian authorities (no change from the present)
- £20 per amendment for all requests made after the issue of bills on all other trade routes (Mexico, Australia/New Zealand, Middle East, Intra European, Asia and Sub Continent)
The above will apply on export traffic only.
