EU4 Service Update

The civil engineering works in Southampton to lay new crane tracks along the quay which resulted a berth being closed have been completed to schedule. We are pleased to advise that all four deep sea berths are now back in operation.

While the berth congestion will ease significantly, as a result of a 20% growth of imports from Asia the terminal is operating at near full capacity. For this reason we and the other members of the Grand Alliance have decided that our EU4 service will continue to by-pass Southampton for another 9 weeks. Cargo acceptance and routing will remain unchanged from arrangements made when the first bypass was announced.

Should you have any queries on the above, please contact your nearest Customer Service Centre or Area Sales Manager.
