Export / Import Free Time & Detention

1. Definition of Key Terms
Export Free time Free time shall commence at 00:00am on the first calendar day when container pick up from carrier's facility and shall expire at 23:59 on CY cutoff day. And the storage charge is excluded.
Detention Detention charges shall commence at 00:00am on the first calendar day following the expiration of Free time whether or not the first or following days are Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays
Import Free time Free time of Detention shall commence at 00:00am from the calendar day after completion of discharge of the vessel.
Detention Detention charges shall commence at 00:00am on the first calendar day following the expiration of Free time and end at 23:59pm on container empty return day. The Storage charges is excluded.
Charges currency in RMB, per container per calendar day.

Export / Import Free Time & Storage

1. Definition of Key Terms
Export Free time Free time shall commence at 00:00am on the first calendar day when laden container gate in carrier's container yard (CY) and shall expire at 23:59 on CY cutoff day.
Storage Storage charges shall commence at 00:00am on the first calendar day following the expiration of Free time whether or not the first or following days are Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays.
Import Free time Free time shall commence at 00:00am from the calendar day after completion of discharge of the vessel and shall expire at 23:59 on the day when laden container gate out Terminal.
Storage Storage charges shall commence at 00:00am on the first calendar day following the expiration of Free time whether or not the first or following days are Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays.
Charges currency in RMB, per container per calendar day.

Remarks-
• (R2) All export free time and storage tariff is only applicable for Guangzhou South China Oceangate Container Terminal (GOCT) in Nansha.
• (R3) All export free time and storage tariff is only applicable for Xiuying Terminal in Haikou with carrier haulage shipment only. For merchant haulage shipment, please refer to local terminal tariff and customer shall settle the payment to local terminal directly.
• All export free time and stoarge charges other than Shekou/ Yantian/ Da Chan Bay/ Nansha (GOCT)/ Haikou Xiuying terminals which shall refer to local terminal's tariff and customer shall settle the payment to the local terminal directly. 
• All out of gauge shipment must be arranged for laden return upon vessel arrival with prior appointment with terminal at least 2 working days in advance. Please contact our local customer service representatives for the arrangement.
• For transhipment free time / demurrage tariff and delay in transit operating fee, please refer to Delay in Transit's rule tariff at https://moc.oocl.com/wls_prs_rp/public/ruleTariff/search/display. 
• The charges would be subject to Carrier's prevailing tariffs published in OOCL.COM at the time of shipment.
