  Freight Handling Fee for Payment Elsewhere Request
In Hong Kong

Dear Customer,

 
We would like to advise you that the Payment Elsewhere/ Freight Handling fee (FHF) will be revised as below for all Import/ Export shipments to/ from Mainland China (except Guangdong, Guangxi; Guizhou, Hainan and Yunnan) with ocean freight and or charges are requested to be paid in Hong Kong.

The charge is to be prepaid upon requesting of freight/ charges to be settled at Hong Kong and/ or prior to the issuance of Bill of lading or cargo release.
 
Customer is reminded to provide the details of the payment information including payment location; payer name with full address; contact person and email address when submission of shipping instruction (SI) to OOCL.

For details of payment method in Hong Kong, please click here for more information. After payment settlement, please remind your payer to send the Payment Transaction Notification together with the Bank’s Deposit Slip to our Financial Control Department at [email protected] for our record.

For other origin/ destined cargo, the quantum of FHF remain unchanged, details please refer to Local Surcharge at www.oocl.com. Should you have any queries, please feel free to email or contact our customer service department. 

Note: effective date would be based on shipment on-board date except Trans-Pacific Trade which is based on cargo receiving date.
